The renovation at Stever’s Candies was an excellent example of the collaborative design process. Located on Park Avenue, Stever’s is a local landmark, which most customers frequent on a regular basis. Having recently acquired the business, new owners Eric and John Vangellow came to Hanlon Architects and RPK Landscape Architecture looking to better connect to the street and renovate their store space. The Vangellows’ initial program included four parts: create a more inviting street presence, open up the retail space, expand manufacturing space, and expand office space.
