Andy joined Stantec Architecture Inc. as a Senior Associate and Architectural Leader of the Rochester, NY office in 2015. He served as the treasurer of the chapter in 2017/2018 and is active on the Design Awards and Scholarships Committees. He is passionate about helping clients understand and solve problems. He has been successful building teams while supporting peers and their development throughout their careers.

Stacy is a Project Manager at LaBella Associates with a broad range of project experience with a concentration on K-12 Projects. As a member of AIA she participated in and helped plan many of the wonderful Emerging Rochester Architects events in addition to serving on the Board as the Education Director, organizing the AIA scholarship application/selection, planning the scholarships awards ceremony and leading the Architecture Explorers Program. As a mentor for ACE Rochester (Architecture, Construction and Engineering) mentorship program, she been fortunate to get to know many members of Rochester’s Architecture and Construction industry.
She looks forward to taking on this new role within AIA Rochester in order to support engaging activities and work with our AIA members to strengthen Rochester’s Architectural community.

Bridget is an Architectural Designer at Edge Architecture and has been a team member there since graduating from the Golisano Institute for Sustainability at R.I.T. in 2015. She has a broad range of project experience ranging from K-12 and University to Commercial and Hospitality. Bridget is a LEED AP in Building Design + Construction and serves as the BIM/Revit Manager at Edge.
Bridget is excited to serve as Secretary to AIA Rochester and to have the opportunity to get involved in the Rochester Architectural Community.
BRYAN TOEPFER, AIA
Director of Education
Bryan Toepfer is a licensed Architect in New York, as well as an NCARB Certificate holder and a Certified Associate in Project Management. He received a Master of Architecture degree from University of Massachusetts and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Architectural Technologies from Alfred State. Toepfer has worked in firms in Boston, Vermont, Albany and Rochester before starting his own firm. He also sits on the Board of Directors for PMI (Project Management Institute) Rochester as the Director of Academic Outreach. With a passion for increasing visibility and knowledge of the value of Architects and Architecture, he is an adjunct professor at RIT and also coaches students taking the Architect Registration Exams.
MICHAEL TRAPANOVSKI, AIA
Director of Practice + Design
A fifteen-year Project Architect, Michael Trapanovski offers HUNT partners and clients uncommon versatility. His ability to organize and execute design projects from pre-design through project completion is exemplified by efforts in the following areas: residential (multi-family, assisted living, and single family); municipal (libraries, fire stations, and historical renovations); and commercial/industrial (mixed-use office and residential). His attention to detail in his construction document efforts have been appreciated by clients throughout NY State and the northeast. On both a personal and professional level, Michael’s listening skills are the key to his design and marketing successes.
JAY WOODCOCK, AIA
Director of Membership
Jay, a graduate of University of Buffalo (BS Arch) and SUNY Alfred (AAS Architecture Engineering Technology), currently manages the Dwyer Architectural Rochester office as an Associate and Leadership Team member. Jay brings enthusiasm and 17 years of professional experience to the healthcare, medical university and higher education markets. He is a strong leader who commits himself to clients and encourages young professionals. He is focused on the betterment of his local community, possesses a reliable attention to detail and always conducts himself in an unselfish manner in both professional and social situations. In addition to being a fun and loving family man, Jay supports the Rochester AIA, GVRAHE, CSI and serves on the committee for the NYS Healthcare Facilities Conference.
CHRISTIANA MEHMEL, ASSOCIATE AIA
Director of Emerging Rochester Architects (ERA)
Christiana is a designer at SEI Design Group and recent graduate of Alfred State College where she received her Bachelors in Architecture. She is currently an Associate AIA member is actively working toward her architectural license. Christiana hopes to inspire and encourage her peers to become active members in, not only the architectural community, but the Rochester community as a whole.

MICHELLE MURNANE, AIA
Director of Communications
Michelle Murnane is a registered architect, a LEED accredited professional, and NCARB certificate holder. She has been an active member of the AIA her entire professional career. She has held various roles on the Board of AIA Rochester, including President in 2013, and was instrumental in co-founding the Emerging Rochester Architects (ERA), which is AIA Rochester's young professionals' group. Michelle was also an active member of AIA Columbus' Associates Committee, and co-chaired a program for high school students which was recognized by the National Associates Committee (NAC) in 2003. Michelle received AIA Rochester's Emerging Architect of the Year Award in 2010. In addition to her service to the AIA, Michelle has over a decade of specialized experience in practicing healthcare architecture. She served on the formation committee for the new Master of Architecture program at Rochester Institute of Technology and was active with the program as an Adjunct Assistant Professor and the IDP Education Coordinator with the program. Michelle graduated cum laude from Kent State University with a Bachelor of Architecture degree.
LINDA HEWITT, HON. AIANYS
AIA Rochester Executive Director
Linda graduated from RIT with a Business Administration degree in 1982. She has been the Executive Director of AIA Rochester since July 1996. Prior to that she owned her own consulting business. She also serves as the Executive Director of the Architectural Foundation of Greater Rochester. She resides in West Henrietta with her husband Greg and their Guiding Eyes Released Puppy, Demi.
